Well, that was a Oanafakind journey!
I should pat myself of the back and start singing “Happy 3 months anniversary!” To Myself. By myself. Because who in their right mind would spend hours and hours just perfecting a blog that’s just meant as a distraction? But hey, we’re here now. It’s the little things that count, right?
STEP ONE: MAKE A VISUALLY APPEALING DESIGN, check.
Yes, here we are indeed… a million themes, colour schemes and logos so hideous they-must-not-be-seen (shut up, Oana, all logos are born beautiful <3 )(no, you shut up, U UGLY) away, on our launching day (um, night?).
STEP TWO: BUILD A RELATIONSHIP WITH YOUR AUDIENCE, check.
As for you lot reading (probably person would be more appropriate here as I’d count my blessings if more than one of you reads this), I bet you’re confused. Well, see… the problem with that is that if the above doesn’t particularly make sense, then that is your problem, not mine.
STEP THREE: HAVE A CLEAR THEME AND VISION FOR YOUR BLOG, check.
The purpose of the blog? Still at the I’m figuring it out stage, so expect bits and pieces about everything and anything. 3 am musings, random thoughts, maybe the occasional creative piece and more (or less?). Who needs a plan? (me, most of the time, but let’s just enjoy the ride with this one…ah).
STEP FOUR: KEEP UP WITH THE TIMES, check.
Well, I’ll be damned if I’m not off to a great start if I do say so myself. Smell that? It’s the fragrance of success, my friends (also, my cat just pooped)(actually, he didn’t, I think he’s constipated, but I needed to be funny. PLS DON’T GO, LOVE ME). I do have one tinsy little question, though… who in their right mind opens a blog in 20178?!?!
